Day 1 : Bagdogra - Phuentsholing - Thimphu (stay)
- Upon arrival, you will be met, greeted, and assisted at the airport.
- You will then be transferred to the border town of Phuntsholing.
- The journey will take a little over 4 hours.
- At the border, we will have to stop for immigration checks and other necessary permits.
- After completing immigration procedures, we will proceed to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, which is approximately 160 km away and takes 5 hours to reach.
- On the way, we will make a stop at Chuzom, the confluence of the Thimphu and Paro rivers, where three different styles of stupas (Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese) adorn this confluence.
- Upon arrival in Thimphu, you will check into the hotel.
- In the evening, we will take an exploratory walk around Thimphu's main street and market area.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing
- Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point):
- World's largest sitting Buddha statue (167 feet high).
- Located on a hill overlooking Thimphu.
- Accessible by road (15 minutes from the city center).
- Offers a great view of Thimphu Valley on both sides.
- Motithang Takin Preserve (Thimphu Zoo):
- Small natural preserve for the Takin, Bhutan's national animal.
- Originally a mini-zoo, converted into a preserve.
- Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory:
- Private factory manufacturing special watermark paper and paper products.
- Folk Heritage Museum:
- Opened to the public in 2001.

- Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery:
- Buddhist monastery in Bhutan.
- Located in Zilukha, near Tashichodzong.

- Coronation Park (Centenary Park):
- Situated at the entrance of Thimphu on the banks of the Wangchu River.

Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha - Phobjikha (stay)
- Dochula Pass (3,100 m): Stop for stunning views of 108 Stupas called Druk Wangyel Chorten and the Himalayan ranges on a sunny day.
- Dochu La Pass: Best-known mountain pass in Bhutan, located at an altitude of 3,150 meters above sea level, about 30 kilometers from Thimphu and the road to Punakha.
- Punakha Dzong: Also known as Pungtang Dechen Phortang Dzong, located at the confluence of Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu River, forming the Puna Tsang Chu, a tributary of the Brahmaputra River. Constructed in 1638 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
- Phobjikha: A beautiful valley known for wintering grounds of black-necked cranes.

Day 4 : Phobjikha Sightseeing and Drive to Punakha (stay)

- Exploration: Stroll through Paro's streets, explore local markets, and experience the town's vibrant atmosphere.

Day 6 : Paro Sightseeing
- Activity: After breakfast, hike to Taktshang Monastery, a 5-hour walk.
- Taktshang Monastery: A famous Bhutanese monastery perched on a cliff 900m above Paro valley floor.
- Legend: Named 'Tiger's Nest' because Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated.
- Afternoon: Visit the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang on the way back, one of 108 temples built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo.
- Historical Significance: This temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan.
- Evening: Explore Paro Town.

Day 7 : Paro - Siliguri
- Drive back to Phuentsholing, the Bhutan-India border town.
- Complete immigration formalities.
- Reflect on the journey through Bhutan.
- Bid farewell to Bhutan.
- Proceed to Siliguri, the gateway to Northeast India.
- Enjoy the scenic beauty during the drive.
- Cherish memories of the Bhutanese adventure.
Day 8 : Bagdogra Airport Drop
