Heaven On Earth
I had heard this from many people that Kashmir is heaven on earth but I believed it only after I saw it.
Activity
We started off from New Delhi to reach Jammu and pay our visit to Vaishno Mata Mandir and seek blessings. We had other plans after that for Kashmir.
Activity
We took a bus to reach Katra where we will rest for sometime and start off for the temple. It takes time to climb up and we took the normal pavement. Now there are several means available to reach there if you are not willing to climb up.

After darshan with lots of people as the place remains crowded, we made our way back to Katra, Vaishnodevi where we were staying. Came back exhausted and dead tired. We fell to asleep.
Camping
We headed to Srinagar from Katra, Jammu to witness the scenic beauty of our heaven on earth. We had not booked any stay as such as we wanted to explore and find the best suited place amidst the nature for us. We finally landed Upon a beautiful cottag
Sight Seeing
We headed to Pahalgam after exploring Srinagar previous day. Pahalgam was indeed a beautiful place with lots of activities available such as horse riding, wooden cottage to enjoy with a view.
Sight Seeing
Gulmarg was surreal. It was white, fresh and holded the essence of Kashmir. You will forget all your worries when you reach there it is therapeutic.
Water Sports
We headed back to Srinagar and enjoyed our shikara ride at Dal lake. It was peaceful though a bit different from what we see in movies. Didn't get a chance to click much pictures as I was enjoying the view of heaven .
Rafting
While our way back we halted for a while to do some water adventure. We opted for rafting and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely if you have a chance to do rafting go for it if you are not phobic for water.
