Jaisalmer

Explore the beautiful state of Rajasthan

Day 1

One of the few 'Living Forts' in the world. Occupied by locals. Some great viewpoints and temples. The vibrant nature of the place cannot be missed. You'll also find great places to eat and shop inside.

Desert

The Ghost Village. Once a prosperous city, later abandoned with a curse. To this date, remains uninhabited. The eerie feels of this place was definitely striking. Must visit when in Jaisalmer.

Experiencing the sunset here along with the night sky was something else. Would definitely recommend and we would personally go back for more. Around 40Kms from Jaisalmer, this is absolutely worth spending a night here.

Day 2

Tanot Temple is close to Longewala border. This is the temple that stood unscathed during the war. To this day, some missiles that fell on the temple and remained unexploded are preserved and on display in the temple.

Desert

The border town you'll remember from the movie 'Border'. Absolutely worth visiting. You can experience the tanks captured, the strategies used and even watch an emotional documentary.

Desert

We headed back to Jaisalmer and spent the night near Gadsar Lake and enjoyed watching the lit Jaisalmer Fort from a rooftop restaurant.
