We planned this journey on our own. We started our journey in the late evening towards the beach and had dinner on our way. It took us a lot of time to reach since we were stuck in between in traffic. We reached at almost midnight
After reaching the beach, we saw that we were the only ones there and we could enjoy our camping. We lit up a bonfire, ate, did some night photography and just spent entire night looking at the beautiful sky, stars and the beach. Beware of mosqitoes
Also, we expected a bit of windy weather at night by the beach but instead were sweating. We rested for just an hour and woke up to see sunrise. It was a bit misty but beautiful. We took the pictures nearby, fresened up & left to explore more places
This was our next stop and we didn't wait here for more than 2 minutes as it was stinking due to the smell of fishes and there was no one at the beach expect some locals.
It is a magnificent island fort which 874 years old now. Although not much part of fort is remaining, but we could still see some of it. The steps and well in between is broken but it was worth visiting. The international ship movements can be seen
This was by far, the best places i visited in this trip. It was very clean beach and had many stay and food options nearby. It is a very famous beach and most visited tourist spot near Mumbai for weekend getaways
This fort is located 3 km Kelva. It is in very dilapidated condition. We just saw the temple and some ruined part of the fort as most of it was covered with plants and bushes and we couldn't walk through it. We just saw it from far and headed back
After visiting all the places, we left for home. Very sleepy and tired but were happy to have explored the new places. One can easily travel to these places as they are nearby Mumbai and can be done within a day on weekends
