Bhuj is one of the unique historical sites in India. It is a municipality in the Kutch district of Gujarat. The city was left in a state of devastation after the 2001 earthquake and is still in the recovery phase.

Kala Dungar is the tallest hill in the whole of Kachchh, rising 1400 feet above sea level. It offers the most panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kachchh, almost 180 degrees of it, right up to the India-Pakistan border.

The Rann of Kachchh is famous for its white salty desert sand and is reputed to be the largest salt desert in the world.
