Udaipur
Took a Solo trip to Udaipur a few years back and here's what I did. Would definitely recommend Udaipur for Solo trippers.
Hotel Stay
Stayed in a rustic charm hotel near Lake Pichola with amazing rooftop views.
Day 1
Worship
Started exploring Udaipur with a visit to Jagdish Temple and nearby streets.
Lake
Gangaur Ghat gives the best view of Lake Pichola. It is also the starting point of the famous Heritage Walk.
Museum
The bagore ki haveli museum has a huge collection of art and paintings. The galleries at this museum gives an amazing view of Lake Pichola too.
Day 2
Lake
Started the day at Fateh Sagar Lake. It is a beautiful artificial lake.
Monument
Overlooking Fateh Sagar Lake, situated on top of pearl hill, the memorial houses a light show. It also has a huge statue of Maharana Pratap Singh.
Garden
It is a huge garden with many fountains, lotus pond and marble elephant. It is one of the major tourist attractions.
Monument
One of the highest point in Udaipur, it is a palatial residence. It was turned into a monsoon palace and hunting lodge after Maharana Sajjan Singh's death. It has the most incredible sunset view.
Day 3
Garden
Day 3 started with a visit to Rose Garden. It has a variety of roses
Water Sports
Udaipur trip is incomplete without a boat ride on Pichola. It is such a beautiful experience.
