Weekend at Varkala
Varkala & it's beach was one of the beautiful beaches I have been to. I thoroughly love every inch of Varkala.
Sight Seeing
We started off from Alleppey to reach Varkala . We were two couples and had a private vehicle. So, we enjoyed our drive to Varkala thoroughly. We gazed at the beautiful palms and indeed god's own country is beautiful and green.
Activity
We had booked a beautiful resort for our two days stay at Varkala. It had a pool and a beautiful beach view. It also had a spa centre. We reached there to check in. Meanwhile the weather in Varkala was killing good . It was all rainy yet beautiful.
Sight Seeing
After dumping our luggage at the resort we walked the streets to enjoy the weather. We moved slowly feeling every breath of ours. We reached the beach and looked at it with child like curiosity. We further moved ahead to reach the beach on our foot.
Sight Seeing
We finally reached the beach and stood in front of the waves crashing us. There are many beaches in Kerala but Varkala has beautiful beaches and resorts if you choose to enjoy some peaceful time. Zostels are plenty in number.
Beach
Nearby the beach there is Varkala cliff where there are plenty of restaurants, market area and fish stalls. You can find all of them at one place. We went there at night time & also day. We enjoyed some good music, ambience and food.
Activity
We came back after having delicious dinner served by a foreigner who runned a restaurant there. We came back to resort to cherish the moment of peace. We could hear the waves right from our garden area. It was all about sitting there in the moment.
