The Ahmednagar Fort is a fort located near to the Bhingar Nala near Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. It was the headquarters of the Ahmednagar Sultanate. In 1803, it was taken by the British during the Second Anglo-Maratha War.

Hatti Barav (Elephant Step well) was a part of water supply system made during Nizamshahi dynasty. Water was lifted with the help of elephants and supplied to the Farah Baksh palace through underground earthen pipeline.

Cavalry Tank Museum is a military museum in Ahmednagar in the state of Maharashtra, India. It was established by the Armored Corps Centre and School in February 1994. It is the only museum of its kind in Asia and houses about 50 exhibits .

The man was Ahmed Nizam Shah, the founder of Nizam Shahi Dynasty and the also the one who laid the foundation of Ahmednagar city as we know it today. As matter a fact the name ‘Ahmednagar’ itself is partly derived from the name Ahmed Nizam Shah.

Farah Bagh, also known as Faria Bagh. The Nizam Shahi rulers built this palace in Ahmednagar. Farah Bagh was the focus of a huge regal compound finished in 1583. It was the distinct belongings of the royal family and Murtaza Nizam Shah stayed here.

One of the best things about Manjarsumba fort is that it had a two-storey structure — called ‘mottha’ — that was used to circulate water all over the fort. This is a very rare finding in any fort. Small fort takes 1 hr to complete!
