Day 1

I started our journey from Chandigarh by bus around 9 am. After 3.5 hours, I reached Amritsar.

The Partition museum, situated at the Town Hall in Amritsar and created by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (TAACHT), is a part of the recently opened Heritage Street in Amritsar, which runs from the Golden Temple to the Town Hall.Ticket 10 rs

After exploring the Partition Museum, it's time to visit the Golden Temple.It is one of the most revered places of worship for Sikhs around the world.The Golden Temple is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib.

In the evening, I headed to my brother's dhaba to taste 😋 Amritsari food. I ordered the Punjabi thali, and it was absolutely delicious

Day 2

Next morning, I visited Jallianwala Bagh. It is known for a tragic incident that occurred on April 13, 1919, during the British colonial era. British troops, under the command of General Reginald Dyer, fired upon a peaceful gathering.

After visiting Jallianwala Bagh, I went to Ahuja Lassi and tried a Patiala glass of lassi. It was incredibly rich and delicious.

Now, I'm heading towards Wagah Border to witness the amazing parade.Wagah Border is a border crossing between India and Pakistan, located near the city of Amritsar in Punjab. What makes Wagah Border unique is the daily Wagah border ceremony.

In the evening, I took a bus to return to Chandigarh. It was an amazing trip with religious, historical, and patriotic experiences.
