Auroville is not only a town, it's a community of people who believe in a cashle society, do not believe in god and there is freedom. Arriv at Chennai first and leave for Pondicherry. Get down at the Aurovill stop which is 15-20km before pondicherry.
Since I was traveling with my friend we booked a hostel at Auroville which was the best decision we made on this trip. This place gives you a home-like vibe, creative and crazy people around the country and world.

We added towards Dosai Village for lunch. It is a great place to enjoy your lunch with the beautiful nature. This property is a farm cafe surrounded by lush green farms all around and the taste is good too.
Sight Seeing
Matrimandir is a symbol of a universal mother. This sci-fi looking dome structure is an amazing creature in the middle of nowhere. On the way one can get to read more about this community and Auroville rules and aims.

We headed towards Tanto Pizzeria to taste their delicious pizza. Must try earth pizza and of course the Margherita.
Swaram is a sound garden. Where there are unique structures producing interesting sounds. We were amazed to visit this museum. Also there is another museum containing all types of musical instruments. One of the must visit places.

This beautiful cafe surrounded by plants and trees serves the best snacks and sweets, yummy ice creams of course . Their wifi is good and this was my favourite sport to work from. Their sandwiches are best to try.
Beach
Enjoy the peaceful vibes at Auroville Beach. It's a clean and quiet beach to take a walk along the coast with your loved ones.
Garden
There are lots of activities one can participate in and enjoy at Auroville: 1.Explore the boutiques and craft shops to support local artisans. 2. Watch movies in regional language 3. Volunteer at different activities
Event / Show / Play
One can enjoy the pizza nights in the middle of tropical vibes, dome-like structure and people around every corner of the country, with different passions and professions. I would say you will witness a completely different environment here in Aurovi

Solitude farms have the best authentic thali. They have this farm cafe where there are different activities we can participate and volunteer. We had our lunch here and we left for Chennai to go back.We stayed here for 1 week and souls were recharged.
