We boarded our train from new Delhi railway station to varanasi junction it took some what 18 hrs as the distance is about 850 k.m.

Day 1

After reaching banaras we checked-in to the hotel and started exploring, first we had gone to Assi Ghat it is the southernmost ghat in Varanasi which is famous for hosting Subah-e-Banaras in the morning, and provides a spectacular notion of river.

Kashi Vishvanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple stands on the western bank of the holy river Ganga, and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas,

Day 2

Monument

Sarnath is a quite popular tourist spot in Varanasi. Known as the place where the Lord Buddha came to give his first sermon after he attained enlightenment at Bodhgaya, Sarnath is definitely a must-visit place.

One of the oldest and the most sacred ghats in the holy city of Varanasi is Dashashwamedh. This place is most famous for its Ganga arti ( a holy fire ritual), which is an elaborate and lively ceremony that takes place at dusk everyday.

Manikarnika Ghat is one of the oldest ghats in Varanasi and has been accorded the highest position among other ghats by the holy scriptures in Hinduism. It is believed that if a person is cremated here, he immediately attains moksha (salvation).

Day 3

It is believed that no one can enter in Varanasi without the permission of Kal Bhairav so next morning before going back to delhi we took the blessings of Baba Kal Bhairav.

After that we boarded our train and headed back to Delhi.
