Venturing from Manali to Baralacha La Pass: A Journey through the Himalayan Highways!

Our thrilling journey commenced at 7 am from the Manali Bus Stand aboard the HPTDC deluxe bus. After covering 28 adventurous kilometers, we arrived at the south portal of the Atal Tunnel, where we were treated to breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar.

We made a stop at the Atal Tunnel to capture stunning snapshots of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Following that, we embarked on a thrilling journey through the 9 km long Atal Tunnel, finally reaching Sissu for a hearty breakfast.

We crossed the river via exhilarating zip-lining, arriving at the captivating Sissu Waterfall with its breathtaking views. Following this adventure, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast with a picturesque backdrop of the Lahaul Valley.

Continuing our adventure from Sissu, we passed through Tandi, Jispa, and Darcha, covering a thrilling 74 kilometers, ultimately arriving at the mesmerizing Deepak Tal.

Deepak Tal, a stunning and picturesque lake along the Manali-Leh highway, boasts crystal-clear waters with a mesmerizing bluish hue. We couldn't resist taking incredible snapshots and relishing the breathtaking views of this natural wonder.

Leaving behind the beauty of Deepak Tal, we embarked on a 31 km journey towards the spectacular Baralacha La Pass, passing through Zing Zing Bar. The further we traveled, the more breathtaking the views became.

Baralacha La Pass is a high mountain pass on the Manali-Leh Highway, offering stunning views of the Himalayas at an elevation of 4,850 meters (15910 feet). It's a crucial crossroads connecting Lahaul, Spiti, and Ladakh.

After our visit to Baralacha La Pass, we made our way back to Manali. Along the journey, we enjoyed a lunch stop at Darcha, and by 6:30 pm, we had returned to Manali.
