Day 1

It is a fairly long but scenic ride, that could take up to 7 hours by road.

Para Gliding

After the Worldwide Paragliding Championship was held a few yrs ago, Bir became famous as a paragliding destination. Make sure to try it at sunset, you'll get some crazy views! The take off site is at Billing, about 20 kms from Bir.

Day 2

You can hire a car for a one-day period to go to Baijnath Temple, Andretta and Wah Tea Estate.

Make sure to visit this beautiful temple. It's open from 9 am - 6 pm IST, the entry is free and it's reachable by car from Bir.

You can hire a car for a one-day period to go to Baijnath Temple, Andretta and Wah Tea Estate. From Baijnath Temple, Andretta is quite a distance through scenic views!

Activity

Andretta that houses India's oldest pottery studio where you can also make your own pot and take it home, like I did!

Sight Seeing

Make sure you head to this Tea Estate to do the Tea Tour of this 500-acre campus! If you're a tea lover, you'll enjoy the tea tasting session that's once you complete the tour!

Day 3

This beautiful institute and it's simple structure will take you by surprise. Make sure to meander through the bylanes of Bir village to reach this serene place.

You can head back to Chandigarh by road. Bir is well connected to Delhi as well.
