We boarded train from new delhi to chennai it was aprx 35 hrs journey because the distance between delhi to chennai is 2186 km .

Day 1

Hotel Stay

On day 3 when we reached chennai firstly we checked-into our hometel which was quite good.

Chennai or Madras Lighthouse which face the Bay of Bengal on the east coast of the Indian Subcontinemt in Chennai, India. The current lighthouse is a landmark on the Marina Beach, which was built by the East Coast Constructions and Industries in 1976

Marina Beach is the second longest urban beach in the world and the longest in the country. The beach has a striking promenade that was built by Sir Elphinstone, the then Governor of Madras in 1881. This promenade houses many grand landmarks.

Day 2

The Kapaleeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva located in Mylapore, Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The temple was built around the 7th century CE , Here Parvati worshipped her husband Shiva in the form of a peahen

If you are in Chennai you cant miss South Indian Food for that the Best restaurant is Sangeetha Restaurant, specially Masala Dosa is a must try meal.

Market

This is a local market in Chennai which is famous for kanjivaram saree, temple jewellery and local food items. We bought silk saree from the famous shop Nalli Silk Sarees.

At the end of the day we took blessings from jesus, and headed back to our hotel and took rest .

Day 3

We boarded the train from chennai central to new delhi and headed back to home .
