In the afternoon, we visited Buddha Talab, also known as Swami Vivekananda Lake.
It's a Lake with an island statue of guru Swami Vivekananda, plus pleasure boats & an evening light show. One can have a boating experience as well.
In the evening, we arrived at Shikhar Restaurant for dinner, where we savored a delightful Chhattisgarh special thali and relished local delicacies. After dinner, we proceeded to our accommodation.
Chitrakote Waterfall is often referred to as the "Niagara of India." Located in Chhattisgarh, it's the widest waterfall in India, spanning nearly 1,000 feet during the monsoon season. The falls are formed by the Indravati River.
From the waterfall's top viewpoint, we descended to the riverbank and enjoyed a 15-minute boat ride that brought us close to the waterfall.It's a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors for its natural beauty and serene atmosphere.
After an amazing experience of natural beauty and Chhattisgarh's local delicacies, we headed back to Delhi with cherished memories, taking a morning flight.
