Day 1
This trip was undertaken in Jan 2019. We were the Electric Vehicle team from our university participating in Formula Bharat FSAE competition in Coimbatore.
Day 2
This Racetrack is situated 20-22 km from the heart of Coimbatore city. This is where Formula Bharat 2019 was held for 5 days. The first day was for the static events
Hotel Stay
This was our stay for 5 days. Cost was decent since we were 13-14 people. Clean rooms, washrooms, and good service by employees.
Day 3
We had our business case presentation on this day. After a nervous morning, we did well at the first formal presentation. There were few dynamic events as well on the same day for which we weren't eligible because of not having a proper, physical car
Day 4
Today was the day when Dynamic events were held and we noted key observations for us to help build our vehicle at home. Productive day with many new learnings. Then we thought of heading to a peaceful place.
Monument
The Adiyogi statue is a 34-metre tall, 45-metre long and 25-metre wide steel statue of Shiva with Thirunamam at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the "Largest Bust Sculpture” in the world.
Day 5
We decided to spend a night at Ooty and next day return to Coimbatore. We booked an OYO double deluxe room for us 12. It was really spacious and well maintained
