Duke's Nose -The Nagphani trek

A popular hiking trail located in between Khandala and Lonavala for beginners. Earlier known as Nagphani now popularly known as Dukes Nose after Duke Wellington. Nagphani means hood of snake.

Day 1

Bus

Start for the trek early morning. I started from Dadar TT circle with a troop of people. On the way have breakfast or you can choose to have breakfast once you reach the base village. Experience nature's beauty on the way during monsoon season.

We reached the base village, had our breakfast and relaxed myself soaking with the beauty and peace with this place. Lush greens, serenity and calm all around. We started with the jungle trail post briefing.

Aye, the trail looked so flat on the map! 😂 Monsoon weather, fog, rains, winds, cold climate completes a beautiful journey to the view point 😍 Trek duration 2 hours max upwards.

The trail is well marked and one can see the Duke’s nose all along the way so chances of getting lost are almost nil. It was so exciting to trek the trail and reach the view point.

Bus
