One can easily reach this place by any sort of transportation. You can walk or take E-Rickshaw if coming through Metro.

What once used to be 15 m tall citadels now reduced to mere, haphazard shaped stone formations hanging here and there.

Reading these boards, walking through the well maintained parks/garden makes one realise the depth of the Palace.

The pyramidal structure was built by using black and white stones with a kalash on top of the pillar. The pillar was beautifully decorated and was named Minar-i-Zarin. Some inscriptions can be found in Ashokan Pillar which were written in Prakrit and

This is called the Jami Masjid. It is one of the most ancient and largest surviving mosque and monument, still in use. Architecturally it was built on a series of underground cells made of quartzite stone, covered with limestone.

Topra Ashokan pillar from the 3rd century BC is one of many pillars of Ashoka left by the Mauryan emperor; it was moved from Topra Kalan in Pong Ghati of Yamunanagar district in Haryana to Delhi under orders of FSK in 1356.

I read the book while sitting under shade for a while until the heat became unbearable. Then, I simply walked out of the gates of the fortified city of Firozabad.

While walking back, between the 2 wide roads lay this desolated monument. The name is "khooni" because a lot of blood was spilt nearby. Assassination, rivalry, blood is what history offers to those who wonder about this place, this gate.
