Day 1

Bus

We headed towards malegaon from dadar to start our range trek to Galna, Kankrala, Dermal & Pisol

Day 2

If you are a trekker and have been looking for an offbeat destination, then Pisol Fort is your calling. Apart from trekking, you can also go exploring the history of the fort.

Mountain

As it is located at an elevation of about 3500 feet, it makes for a perfect destination amongst trekkers and campers. The base village from where one needs to start trekking is Wadi Pisol. From the village, it takes an average time of 1 h to reach.

We headed towards our 2nd Fort, The trail to this fort starts from the base village Tinghari, hich is at a distance of 5 km from Nampur. At a glance, you would not be getting any visibility of the fort, it is blocked by a huge hill from front.

Dermal Fort is a fort located 125 mi (201 km) from Nashik, in the Nashik district of Maharashtra, India. Though this fort is an important fort in Nashik district, it is less visited by trekkers. In Satana taluka, there are four forts in a line.

Mountain

Taking left and walking through the rugged terrain will lead you to the Plateau. This stretch will take about an hour and a half to cross and once you reach the plateau, you will get the first sighting of the fort, as it is at the direct base to fort

Day 3

We headed towards base of Galna fort and stayed at Guru Gorakhnath Temple.

Galna (Marathi: गाळणा क़िल्ला, Hindi: गालना क़िला) was a major fort in the south Khandesh area of Maharashtra, India. This fort was an important fort on the Burhanpur -Surat trade route. This is one of the forts in Maharashtra with the bastion.

Mountain

All along the path, which has steps that you can easily cover, you will see monkeys. The interior door, the Lokhandi Darwaza, has an inscription in an ancient language. Further up, you will see a stone tablet with inscription in Islamic.

Kankrala is situated near to Galna fort in Malegaon taluka in Nasik.There is a small valley formed by the mountain of Kankrala. We headed to our last fort for the weekend.

The ramparts start right from here, now most of them broken down. There are many tanks found on the mountain top and some plinths are found. An idol of Lord Hanuman is found here. It takes half an hour to see the fort.
