After reaching to Haridwar, we got freshened up and head to the pilgrim site, which is Har ki Pauri, Where the River Gange exits the Himalayan foothills. We took the bath in the Ganga and worshipped in the Ganga temple.
Next we planned to visit the Mansa Devi temple which is next famous to Har ki Pauri. To reach the temple either you can walk up (which is quite a long distance) or you can use the ropeway, which we had taken and cost us around 145 per person.
In evening, we again went to Har ki Pauri to see the Ganga Arti which is most famous to watch on the Ghats of Ganga. We spend quite good time sitting and watching the arti on the Ghats.
After staying overnight in Haridwar we next started our Journey to Yoga capital of India, i.e., Rishikesh. It's just around 25 km from Haridwar and took us around 45 mins to reach the destination.
After reaching Rishikesh, we took the package from the adventure company which includes Camping, Rafting and Cliff jumping and cost us around just 1100 per person. We stayed in the riverside camp for overnight and enjoyed.
After reaching the camping site we decided to visit the Neer Garh Waterfall which is quite near to Shivpuri, we hitchhiked to certain point and after that we trekked for around 3.5 km to reach the top of waterfall.
After an overnight stay in camp, On day 3 we went for Rafting. We started our Rafting from the point above Shivpuri and the distance for Rafting was 16 km till Rishikesh. This was best sport activity we had.
During our Rafting time we had certain points for cliff Jumping, We choose to jump from one of the point which was 4 km froma Rishikesh on the way while we were rafting, it was quite frightening but an awesome experience.
After spending some good quality time and the adventurous one we head back to the destination from where we started. Thanks to all good memories we had.
