Took Bus to Aut from ISBT Kashmere gate for Rs 650 and got off at Aut Tunnel entrance.
Then took a local bus to Banjar Village. Total time taken - 13 hrs
Do try Siddu dish when in Shoja. It tastes amazing with melted ghee and provides warmth. Shoja was completely engulfed under sheet of snow which looked so good during Sunset hours.
A great option to stay while in Jibhi/Shoja. Jalori Pass is just 5 km from this hostel.
Lot of variety of food available. Chinese, Italian, Israeli, etc. Beds are super comfy and regulations are enforced really well.
Rates are cheap and ambience
While on the road towards Shoja you'll se a big board going in the forest. It leads to a place where water has gotten collected and forms a bluish area
Good for some creative clicks and small hiking experience.
Trekked from Jibhi to Shoja in evening hours and made it to Hosteller when it was pitch dark.
Met new people who came hours before at Hostel. Quite fun environment and that's the best part about staying in hostels. You have fun and meet new people.
The road to Jalori Pass was fully covered in snow. One could only walk/trek to reach the pass otherwise possible to reach by vehicle itself (during summer/when snow is not there).
The views were too good. One just couldn't miss clicking pictures!
Situated at an altitude of 10k feet. Jalori Pass acts as an important route connection between Rampur valley and Banjar Valley. Shimla is just 150 km from this pass. The road was fully cleared on the other side of pass that went towards Shimla.
Took a shared taxi to Jibhi since snow had cleared till Shoja.
Then I got the idea to utilise spare time before catching bus from Banjar to Aut. Off to Chehni Kothi next
