We took the rental car from New Delhi to drive all the way to Kasol which was around 550 km and took us around 14 hours to reach the "Mini Israel of India". The way passes through the pine trees and the Parvati river flowing as the road transverse.
After reaching Kasol in evening, we took the hostel and went out to explore the Market, Although the market street is a little small, but you will find shops lined with goodies, night vision glasses, woollen clothes, caps etc.
We woke up early in the morning to stroll near the mighty Parvati River, Which would make you feel overwhelmed by the roaring sound that will constantly keep you company, Picturesque landscapes makes this place extremely beautiful.
After exploring Parvati river, we went to Manikaran Sahib which is almost 6KM from Kasol and built between Beas and Parvati. The hot spring in the Gurudwara was the peculiarity of this place and the "Langar" was the cherry on the top.
After visiting Manikaran Sahib, for the night out we went to Jim Morrison Cafe, which is one of the best cafe at place, it offers everything from view to good music to excellent food.Reaching the cafe requires a small climb but it is all worth it.
3 hours long trek, away from the crowds or city life and with scintillating natural beauty sprawling all around you, Malana called as ‘Little Greece of India’. A tourist cannot touch anything and their belongings without villagers permission.
A short and awesome trip comes to an end as we head back to our home destination. To escape from the stress of this chaotic life, Kasol offers the most beautiful destinations in India and much more than pleasure for a backpackers.
