We took a little workcation trip across the Nilgiris covering Coorg, Wayanad and Ooty/Conoor

We missed our stop while travelling to Madikeri from Bangalore, and deboarded 5 kms ahead from Madikeri. We were welcomed by a misty and magical morning. It felt such a respite after the hot weather in Mumbai. Spent the day strolling around the town.

Next day, we spent walking on secret trails and spotting hidden waterfalls. Also had lunch at the famous Coorg Cuisine. Loved the time we spent here!

Wayanad

Bus

We left Coorg Gostops early in the morning to go to Wayand. You need to take a bus to Kutta, which lies on the Karnataka Kerala border. And then you can take another bus to Wayanad. The route passes through National Park and is extremely scenic.

We stayed in Wayand in a very pretty property, located amidst Coffee estates and spice plantation. It was a beautiful place and we loved the time spent here.

Coonoor

Next we went to Conoor from Wayanad. And this little place has our heart. It is such a quaint little town, with the best views, cafes and tea gardens! We visited the property where Kapoor and Sons was shot and tea gardens around as well.
