Day 1
Train
The most popular & convenient train to reach NJP is Darjeeling Mail. There are several trains between Sealdah & NJP, but for me Darjeeling Mail timing seems to be perfect. You board the train at night & the next day early morning you are at NJP.
Day 2
Car
NJP is at a distance of 124kms from Gangtok. At NJP plenty of private & shared taxis are available & it takes about 4.5 hrs to reach Gangtok. There is a pre-paid taxi counter outside the NJP station (which opens at around 7am.)
Day 3
Market
MG marg is the gem in gangtok, a good evening hangout place & also has alot of food joints for all travellers. Absolutely love the vibes & spirit of this place. The place where you can never feel lonely & the place which is just so so happening.
Day 4
Waterfall
One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've visited. Located in between Gangtok-Lachen route. I bet you'll fall in love with this view. So calm & soothing. A perfect spot for nature lovers. Do visit.
Day 5
Mountain
Come experience the length & breadth of Lachen, a heavenly abode. Wooden homes, scenic view of the mighty mountains, & alpine pastures define Lachen in Sikkim. It is an unexplored land & one of the most peaceful place to be in.

At about 15000 ft. this place is full of surprises. Beautiful big black mountains are there above which there is always snow throughout the year. The view is breathtaking. You won't regret visiting this beautiful spot. Trust me!!!
Lake
One of the hightest lakes in the world. The lake is simply divine, very peaceful & calm. At 17,800 ft. No one can express or capture the feeling u get there in a camera. Go see it & feel it. Warning: Low oxygen level. Keep ur movements minimal.
Day 6
Mountain
You can enjoy solitude & hear the sounds of nature in this heavenly abode. A home to some of the most beautiful tourist destinations. If you are on a trip to Sikkim, do visit Lachung to experience an air of peace & calm.
Day 7
Mountain
At 15,300 ft, the region provides beautiful sightseeing shots. One can enjoy here the snow-clad mountains, the Zero Point is nothing short of Heaven on earth. However beware of the oxygen level. Speak less & walk slowly.

Yumthang Valley - Also known as Valley of flowers. One of the most scenic valleys in the country. An amazing place with open views of the valley. In love with this place. So raw!! A highly recommended!!!
Day 8
Waterfall
Also called Amitabh Bachchan fall due to its height. The water is falling from very high mountain & it looks like a three stage waterfall. The sound of water dropping can hear from far off. Situated at Khedum village near Lachung. Must visit!!!
