Originating in the Mukurthi peak, Pykara River and the waterfalls the river produces is one of the most beautiful and majestic sights that you will get to see in Ooty.

Great place to stay while in Ooty. The semi deluxe and suit room are great if you get them with balcony. Food was delicious, but service could be improved.

From this point you can get amazing views of the Catherine falls and also if the weather is clear (after Feb) you can spot mountain shaped like a Dolphins Nose

Was lucky to get glimpse of the Steam Engine which is deployed b/w Coonoor and Metupallayam.
The track has steepest gradient (in Asia) b/w Coonoor and Ooty so diesel engine is used in that part to push the body.
This road contains the marketplace of Ooty. Municipal market, Lower & Upper Bazaars are the right place to buy Spices, clothes, handicrafts, chocolates for taking home or other souvenirs. Lit place 💯
Drove from Ooty to Coimbatore from where we had our flight to Delhi. There was a halt at Chennai airport so the total time taken reached 3 hr 30 mins. This marks the end of this trip.
