Day 1
Start your journey from Kalyan to kasara via local train. It takes 1 hr to reach at kasara. We boarded the 11.03 pm train
After getting down at kasara we booked a car which dropped us till the base village i.e. pattewadi and requires 2 hrs from Kasara. The route is quite annoying. Took a small chai break and continued the journey.
Day 2
Mountain
It was 2.30 am when we reached base. We took some efforts and lit the bonfire coz it was freezing cold (6°C). Rest of them took a quick power nap before the trek. Later we had some breakfast and started the trek at 4.30 in the morning.
Trekking
The trek was small which took barely half hr to reach the top. It consisted of proper steps. We reached the top at 5 am and awaited for sunrise.

Although the trek is small but there are many things to see on the top of mountain. It has a huge ambarkhana, water tanks, statue of shivaji maharaj, small dam, etc. You require 4-5 hrs to explore the entire fort.
