Pondicherry-The French Capital
Brimming with unspoiled beaches, heritage buildings, French quarters, ancient temples and churches and a colonial ambience, this French Colony has a plenty of things to do and see.
Day 1
Car
After reaching Chennai we rented the car for two days and headed to Pondicherry(The french Capital of India) covering a distance of approx 150 km. The road strech alongside the long coast line with the perfect sunset view in evening.
Homestay
After reaching Pondicherry we took the guest house for our stay name "Red Carpet Residency" which was around 1200/day and just 3 km from Rock beach.
Day 2
After travelling through 8 kms from our guest house through car we reached to chunnambar boat house. After getting to the boathouse, we are transferred in a boat that took us to the beach at a price of just INR 30 and it will take a total of 20 mins.
Beach
The visit to Puducherry won’t be complete if you didn’t take some time out for Paradise Beach. The unparalleled charm, mesmerizing beauty, and jaw-dropping scenery, offers a peaceful yet delightful experience to everyone.

It's the best walkway of Pondicherry with a long concrete road that follows the sea shore. The sea shore is rocky so there is no sandy beach. Several landmark along with Gandhi statue can be seen, with the couple of eateries on the road side.

The coastline of sea side promenade is the Rock beach or the Gandhi beach, Is an exceptional place where the shore is densely populated by majestic rocks. The beach gives the blissful view of French architecture. Do not forget to try "Masala Milk"
Day 3
Beach
The calm and clean beach with the less crowd perfectly define is place. It is the only beach with mesmerising white sands on one side and a rocky stretch along the other side, with fishermen’s boats and other gear all along the coast.
Restaurant
If you are Joey from the famous TV series F.R.I.E.N.D.S, then Tanto is where you should head out, known for its terrific and great range of pizza's.
