Day 1
Finally we are off to Pondicherry (Puducherry)
Booked Ola to Koyembedu bus terminal, one of the biggest bus terminal in Channai. 24 hours bus service available
Day 2
At 1am we got AC seater bus to Pondy via ECR. Fare 245rs Journey 3 and half hours
Stay for the weekend. Quite calm and old style room. Pet dog Kinder.
Sight Seeing
Auroville is a must visit place when you are in Pondy. About 15km north of Pondy, this experimental township will blow your mind with its activities and eco friendly way to lead sustainable life. Matrimandir is the main attraction over here
Worship
Matrimandir Place to mediate and tourist attractions due to its architectural uniqueness. Most photogenic tourist spot.
Restaurant
Roadside small restaurant, run by local. You can amazing affordable thalis for lunch. Quite a small place home cooked food. Road towards Serenity beach from Auroville
Beach
One of the beaches in Puducherry. There are surf schools and you can learn surfing here. 15min ride from main town
Day 3
Beach
Marine drive of Puducherry. Quite well maintained and clean. You can enjoy sitting there and enjoying cool breeze from Bay of Bengal. All the monuments and cafes are on this straight sea front promenade.
Sight Seeing
Old French architectural buildings, ashrams and even artistic cafes all over this beautiful township. You feel as if you are visiting a foreign land while roaming around these grid lanes all over white town.
Beach
Paradise beach, south of Puducherry around 30mins ride. Beautiful beach, with some part of which is privately owned. You need to pay an entry fee and there are many activities you can do over here
Restaurant
Must visit place to have thin crust wood fired pizza. Small outlet but taste is just too good. Reasonably priced
Got bus at 10pm to Chennai. AC seater, seat not thay comfortable, but worth the money. Fare 170rs only.
