Great place to stay while in Pushkar. Just remember to book from booking.com not goibibo because of their payment methods can create an issue.
The mornings at this place are real real quiet.
Pushkar market is a must visit place if you want to buy authentic Rajsthan products, have lip smacking food, and wish to click street photographs, happenings around.
Just visit this place and order from a variety of options of Laffa Falafel. Believe me, it serves the best of these and others as well at a fair enough price. Too good!
Early morning hike of about 2 km can take you to an amazing place to witness sunrise. This temple has got old history associated with it.
Just be aware of the dogs, stay calm and don't panic. They'll go away.
The largest congregation of Camels from all round the India takes place at this place. Hub for street photographers and videographers along with traders and business persons who are willing to trade their camels for a fair, negotiated price.
Alongside Camel Fair, cattle fair also takes place where predominantly Horses are traded and showcased. The most well maintained, fed and cared one's sell for the highest.
Do Carry a hat and water bottle, else you can face dehydration issue.
Dedicated to the wife of Brahma is temple can be reached through a ropeway or on foot (1000 steps mind you).
This is best place for sunset or sunrise and is at higher altitude than Gayatri temple.
Ate something on street and headed straight towards the Muni Caves which are good 3 - 4km from the Pushkar center.
There's small hike in order to reach the caves. Do not visit this place alone.
Did some exploration around the caves. Spotted quite a big snake and then ran out of that place within next few seconds.
The rock structures can provide one with good practice of Bouldering. But again, don't visit this place solo.
Your Visit to Pushkar is incomplete if you don't spend time on the 52 ghats present around the Pushkar Lake. I got lucky as in the evening Ganga Aarti took place at the same ghat. That vibe can only be felt by the one experiencing it, so do visit!
