Day 1

Bus

From Mumbai there are buses and Volvo buses available to Kolhapur, distance between Mumbai to Kolhapur is 380 kilometers, and from here taxi to reach the base village.

Rangana is a medium trek, Rangana fort, arranged in Bhudargad taluka, goes again to the "Shilahar" administration (940 AD). This fort was built by King Bhoj of Shilahar dynasty.

Trekking

Two entrances one of them is big and small, temple of goddess Mahalakshmi, a big lake which is filled with water throughout the year. The stronghold goes under area called as "Maval Patta". The nature loaded with slopes & valleys encompassing Rangana

Monument

Rangana is a monstrous fortress with 65 structures. The five doors are still in place and there are three little lakes on the post, flanked by broad woods that play host to wild creatures like bears and panthers.

Journey to see Mouni Maharaj Samadhi and Math Place at Patgaon village in Kolhapur district. Mouni Maharaj was the Guru of Chhatrapati Shivaji.

Bhudargad Fort is situated near Paal village in the Kolhapur District of Maharashtra. It stands on a huge vertical rock. The fort was built by king Bhoj of the Shilahara family
