Shimla <-> Manali
Amidst the hilly slopes, is a paradise for mountain lovers with spell-binding views, charming streams, the fairy-tale-like fog surrounding little hidden cottages.
Day 1
Market
As soon as we reached Shimla, we took the hotel and get freshned up. After some time we hopped out of our hotel room to explore the famous Mall road of shimla, the main street is lined up with a myriad of restaurants, clubs, shops etc.
Day 2
Worship
On the Day 2 of our journey we hop to our next destination in Shimla, Situated at a height of 8000 ft Covered in a blanket of alpine trees, Jakhoo Hill is the highest point of Shimla where Lord Hanuman standing statue exist.
Mountain
We took a ride of about 40 minutes from the Shimla which brings us to next must visit place in the region, Kufri. This small hill station promises you panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and also known as adventure hub.
Day 3
Market
As soon as we reached Manali we booked our hotel named (Green Apple/Red Apple) and in evening went out to visit Mall road of Manali which is almost similar to ever other Mall road. I'll suggest to buy woolen clothes that are locally woolen.
Day 4
Amusement Park
On the day 4 of our tour we visited the club House in Manali, which is one of the tourist places for adventure activities and indoor games and one of the most interesting places to be. It's not far from Mall road and can be visited by Auto or car.
At the club House certain adventures activities could be done and one of the main activities is River crossing through zip lining, it cost around 300-400 per person.The river crossing is challenging as one has to cross the river while hanging.
Worship
After visiting club House we went to next destination surrounded by towering deodar trees, i.e., temple dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima, No idol is worshipped here and the it is built in Pagoda-style.
Day 5
Mountain
Day 5 of our trip was the best day I remember. 13 kms away from Manali, we hop to the heaven,The lush green fields cover the terrain as far as the eye can go, Certain adventure activities could be done here like Paragliding, Zorbing etc.
Day 6
Mountain
Situated at a height of 13000 feet, this places witness the mind blowing landscapes with the snow capped mountains. The important information is that you need permit to visit this place and it's better to talk to your driver to get the permit easily.
