SoU - World's Tallest Statue
SoU can be done as a day trip or a weekend getaway from Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Read along to find out my 2 days itinerary of SoU.
Day 1
Start journey from Bandra Terminus late night and reach early morning at Kevadiya. Enjoying some local snacks on the way.
Day 2
Auto Rickshaw
You will find many e-rickshaws at the station, driven by women by which you can go till your hotel. Though you can ask for an early check-in but it is very unlikely that you will one because they are always running full so drop bags and leave.
Market
Visit the nearby Ekta Mall. After exploring the mall, have a heavy breakfast and leave for hotel.
Hotel Stay
Check in. Freshen up and roam around the properly. Have traditional lunch at the restaurant and leave for SoU.
Monument
Explore the entire SoU campus. Visit hall of memories, museum, viewing gallery, statue.

Enjoy the light and sound show from the SoU campus. The entire history of India is depicted so well.

The area around SoU is illuminated and vibrant in the night. This is a unique theme park.
Day 3
Safari
Start your day with Jungle Safari. It is an unique Safari in which you could see the animals up close. HoHo Golf cars are available to take you from one spot to another.
Restaurant
Enjoy sumptuous snacks at the SoU cafe.
Garden
Visit the valley of flowers right opposite to Jungle Safari. You can see more than 100 types of flowers and plants at this place.
Place
If you are left with some extra time, consider visiting Pets Zone where you get to pet some exquisite species.
Hop on the bus to catch train at Kevadiya.
