Day 1
Aeroplane
It takes only around 1 hour to reach srinagar by plane and is the best mode of transport with scenic views of the himalayas. Photography is prohibited at srinagar airport as it is a defence airport.
Resort
There are only 2 places in India where you can stay in a houseboat one in srinagar and other in kerala. It is a beautiful experience and must stay here when in srinagar surrounded by pure serenity and beautiful landscapes.
Kayaking
Shikara ride at the dal lake is one of the most famous tourist activity in kashmir and is a livelihood for the locals. It will take you around the dal lake and is a beautiful experience.
The shikara ride will be of 2 hour and will take you to the floating market meena bazar, various film shooting locations, Picturesque points, shikara shops, food stalls and watersport points. NOTE : Do bargaining will booking the shikara.
