Day 1
Train
We planned this trip on our own and through our friend's family as they stay at Vadodra. We took the BDTS BGKT Exp from Bandra Terminus at 11:55pm and reached Vadodra at 5:10 am
Day 2
Car
We reached Vadodra at 5am and went to friend's family residence. We took a power nap, freshened up, had breakfast and left for Statue of Unity. We had pre booked the tickets online for the same.
Car
We reached Statue of Unity in 2 hrs
Monument
We explored the SOU. There was a zoo inside, ferry ride and light show in the evening. It was a beautiful experience. We roamed inside in the electric buses
Restaurant
While heading back, we and had our dinner on the way at one of the famous restuarant in the city named High fly. This was inside an aeroplane. The food and service was amazing. It was a pleasent evening.
Day 3
Bike
Next day, we took bikes and strolled around the city. Our friend's niece took us to all the famous places which were nearby
Place
This was the most beautiful place in the city. Only a few part is opened for the tourist to visit. You get an audio earphone to listen to the history and get some knowledge of the palace. You can explore the palace through it on your own
