Sethan Valley – so close yet so far! This tiny little unknown hamlet lies ridiculously close to Manali to be this unknown! It took around 1 hr to reach there. I simply fell in love with this part of Manali..❤️
Sethan is simply magical. The secluded way to the village, the generous people, the unsettled culture and the peaceful view of the valley left me in awe. This tiny hamlet of Sethan is home to about 10-15 families.
✅ Highly Recommended
NOTE: Feb to May is the ideal time for Snowbound trekking & Snowboarding/Skiing
June to Nov is the ideal time for summer hikes & camping in the wild.
✅ Sethan is also the starting point of the popular Hamta Pass trek.
Situated at the beginning of Village.
✅ Amazing host.
✅ Best deal with a great view.
✅ You can camp at their enthrallingly beautiful campsite.
✅ Since it is a small town housing no more than 20 properties, the accommodation is fairly limited.
NOTE: You won’t find fancy restaurants like Manali but u can try local cuisines at The Himalayan Lounge. They cook local delicacies with home-grown organic vegetables. U can also have Siddu (Himachali Dish), Momo & Veg Maggi. What a tasty affair!❤️
How To Reach? – It is easily accessible from Manali. You can take a taxi from Manali to Sethan which will cost you around INR 1000-1500. You can also rent a bike or drive your own vehicle to this beautiful village.
