In the morning, I began Varanasi trip by visiting Assi Ghat, where I felt the spiritual vibes. I also took a holy dip in the River Ganga.
I also walked alongside the river and explored the nearby ghats. I had lunch at restaurant with ganga view.
I took a boat to reach Dashashwamedh Ghat from Assi Ghat, and it was an amazing experience, a must-do for me in Varanasi. The boat passed by nearby ghats like Jain Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat.
Boat charge: 150 rs ( can be bargained)
After a 15-minute boat ride, I reached Dashashwamedh Ghat, where people were waiting for the Ganga Aarti to begin. Around 6 pm, the Aarti commenced, and it was a deeply spiritual experience to witness. After the Aarti, I returned to my hostel.
The next morning, at around 8 am, I headed to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple for Mahadev darshan. I waited in line for approximately 20 minutes to have darshan.
From the Vishwanath Temple, I walked towards Manikarnika Ghat.
it's believed that those cremated here achieve liberation from the cycle of reincarnation. The ghat is a powerful symbol of the circle of life and death.
Now, I visited Kashi Chat Bhandar.
They offer various types of chats. I tried a couple of them, and I especially liked the Aloo Tikki Chat. After chat I also had a lassi
I visited Bharat mata mandir. The Bharat Mata Mandir in Varanasi is a unique and patriotic temple dedicated to Mother India. Unlike traditional temples dedicated to deities, this temple venerates India as a nation.
