Weekend trip to Udaipur

My weekend trip to the city of lakes, Udaipur. Although a weekend is not enough to explore this beautiful city, but if you have time constraints, my experience will help you.

Day 1

We boarded Mewar express at night and reached Udaipur the next day in morning.

Hostel

One of the best stays till date honestly. The rooms were clean, the common are was amazing and the staff was super helpful

The Jheel ginger cafe overlooks the Pichola lake, the vibes are so peaceful and relaxing.

Restaurant

We stopped at this little cafe, to try there famous dessert called 'Boho Passion'. If you have a sweet tooth like me add this to your list.

Also known as Monsoon Palace. It is the place to be for watching sunset. You can see to the view of the whole city. The sunset scene of Naina and bunny from Yeh jawani hai deewani was also shot here (dhansu sunset).

We chilled at the lake for some time, there are many options for having street food.

Day 2

Monument

We took the whole tour if 2 hour with the guide. It was a great place to witness the rich history and culture.

We had lunch there, with the view of lake and relaxed for sometime before catching our train.

It is a Hindu temple in the just outside the royal palace. It was built in 1651 and has a lot of recognition among tourists and locals.
